Feb 3/13 ski @ Bittersweet Event review 

Di, Shannon, Nadine, Jackie, Eldon and Fred met Clarence at the Bittersweet ski trails at 11:30 on Sunday for a fantastic time on the boards.
The temp was -15 to start and warmed up to -11 by mid afternoon with no breeze and variably oc skies. The trails had just been groomed on Friday and Saturday and were in great condition and moderately fast. 
Jackie, Eldon and Fred skied almost all the classic trails on offer including some we had never skied before. Bittersweet serves up a myriad of mostly one and some two way loops with easy to difficult terrain. The hills are exhilarating! Kudos to the groomers! We all gathered at the chalet around 2pm for the coffee and cookies that are available on the weekends and hosted by one of the local ski club member volunteers. (Donations gratefully accepted). Apres lunch we all skied some more and arrived back in Brandon around 6pm. Thanks to all who were able to join in.
